dinning experience with my wife and a group of men friends at different time
suited the occasion very well. The ambience is exceptional, not over done and
quite European. The food is excellent and so is the service .Even some of the
staff can give you as they did with me some German language lessons.

Well, we haven't been there yet....we just made the reservation tonight. Hope it works out. I work with TV Deutsch, and other producers at Shaw Multicultural Channel. One of my early TV producers I worked with, a fabulous motherly lady named Julia, has just turned a grand 80 years old. She's retired now, but I promised to take her to the Bavaria Haus in New West for a dinner to honor her for all the years we worked together. Please help me make this a happy event. Your menu -- unless I missed it -- did not mention anything about desert....I'll check again, but could I ask if it is possible to get a little tart that says, "Thank you, Julia" on top? Hello, I was at your restaurant for dinner with my family on Sat Sept 2nd. We all enjoyed our meals immensely. The food was wonderful & our waitress was fantastic. However, everyone found the restaurant to be quite hot. It was a very warm evening & your restaurant is not equipped with air conditioning. This will certainly make me think twice about making reservations at your establishment during the summer months in the future. Please consider an upgrade to air conditioning. I cannot say enough good things about this restaurant. My girlfriend and I have been to the Bavaria Haus on dozens of occasions and consider this restaurant to be not only one of the best values for your money but also one of the best restaurants anywhere for their food & service. Among others, I can strongly recommend their steak, the filet and the pepper steak are to die for, served with veggies and red cabbage. Even the drinks are a good value and the original appetizers are so good they're hard to share. Hats off to the waiters and waitresses (especially Cheryl) for making every meal a special treat. And, of course, many thanks to the talent of the chef.

I enjoyed your web site and have been looking for many years for a good schnitzel house in the area since they closed the Schnitzel house on Robson street many many years ago. Saw your add on Germany TV as I was flipping channels. I do not speak or understand German but know the word Schnitzel and read your web address that was all I needed.

We brought our dinner club there from our work, we call ourselves the "Merry Munchers" dinner club. We came a year ago this month and had a wonderful time - the food was exquisite and the service was so good - our group has been asking to come back for a year now and so on November 22, we are returning for our second time with our whole group. Great job you do at this restaurant - we have been to many over the last year - we go out once a month, but this is the only place that our people have asked to go back to. That tells you something!!!!! Lois

Our party (of about six) has really enjoyed many visits to the Old Bavaria Haus. We would like to come again very soon but this time we have a problem - two new members of our group insist on eating what they call "plain food."
